From historic canals which make the ideal backdrop for the one social media-friendly snap you'll take to literally every kind of cultural, culinary and clubbing venue under the sun, Amsterdam has it all when it comes to an epic weekend away with the lads.
The city's amazing party scene and awesome array of activities and attractions mean you're spoilt for choice whatever your style of stag. Check out the city's fabled Red Light District in the heart of De Wallen, chill with a few drinks at a cool bar in De Pijp, or make your Mum proud by soaking up some culture at a museum in Jordaan.
Whether you want a crazy or more civilised weekend away, we'll make sure your best mate's stag do in Amsterdam is unforgettable. We take care of the nitty gritty - the hotel bookings, the flights, the transfers and the all-important stag do activities - leaving you with nothing to worry about but making (and holding on to) great memories.
Smack-bang in Amsterdam's city centre, this historic district is where you'll find some of its most attractive canals and some really top-notch restaurants. Formerly working class, Jordaan has risen from the ashes and is now one of the most photographed areas of Amsterdam thanks in part to top cultural attractions like Anne Frank's House.
Jordaan is also the home of the Nine Little Streets (9 straatjes in the local lingo) which is one of the best shopping spots in the city, plus there's some great food markets if you fancy trying out the local grub.
Best known as the home of Amsterdam's Red Light District, De Wallen is where to head for the rowdier part of the weekend. It's one of the oldest sections of the city and has plenty of historic monuments to visit when you're not staring at half-naked women or browsing the risque displays at the Erotic Museum.
If you'd rather steer clear of the district's racier attractions, there's a handful of great markets to explore as well as a decent selection of Amsterdam's coffee shops that you'll leave with more than just a caffeine hit.
This hip area is located just south of the city centre and its warren of tiny streets are littered with cool brunch spots and loads of laid back bars. It's also known as Amsterdam's Latin Quarter thanks to its bohemian residents and mish-mash of vibrant eateries where you can tuck into everything from Spanish tapas to Moroccan mezze.
One of the biggest attractions in De Pijp is the huge Albert Cuyp Market which boasts over 300 stalls selling clothing, souvenirs and dozens of local delicacies. Beer drinkers will be happy to know that there are also two major breweries in the district - the popular Heineken Experience and the smaller Brouwerij Troost which makes some awesome IPAs.
Whatever your group size, there are loads of great accommodation options for an Amsterdam stag weekend - from contemporary hostels with all the basics to super luxurious, five star hotels perfect for chilled out mornings when you're all suffering. If you'd prefer to self-cater, apartment rentals can be found although it can be tricky for larger groups.
Stay close to the action or find a bolthole on the edge of one of the major neighbourhoods that'll guarantee uninterrupted sleep every night of your stay.
